I remember the day I collected my 'A' levels results. My teacher was disappointed that I did well enough to get into the university. Despite not being the most attentive student and facing significant challenges in a traditional classroom setting and reading a book remains a hurdle I have yet to overcome to this day. At a time when only 5% of the population advanced to university, I defied expectations and secured my place, not fitting the 'typical' profile of success but achieving it nonetheless.

I eventually became a university lecturer, a role that has allowed me to shape the next generation of learners. As part of my responsibilities, I've interviewed prospective students for admission and served as a career counselor to undergraduates in the university. This experience has not only affirmed my authority in the academic realm but also enriched my understanding of the diverse paths students can take toward success. This knowledge is what we use to help our students get into the best universities of their choice.

For those reflecting on their own or their child's 'A' Level results, whether the outcome was disappointing or unexpectedly positive, you're at a pivotal crossroads. The choice of a university course is monumental, as it can significantly influence your initial career direction and future prospects.

If the 'A' Level (or IB or High School) results have not met the requirements for your desired university course, there's a pathway that shouldn't be overlooked, which is credit recovery options, ensuring that students can still achieve university admission the same time as their peers who did well. (it takes a max of 6 months to recover with 'A' levels). This is a path All Gifted has provided to numerous students. We will enable students to pursue their chosen field of study and embark on their future career even with less than sterling results at 'A' levels.
